Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Komets announced that defenseman Dru Krebs has signed with the team for the 2025-26 season.

Krebs, 22, turned pro last season, splitting time with Greenville and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign. The Okotoks, Alberta native posted 12 points (2-10a) in 58 games with the Swamp Rabbits.

Before turning professional, Krebs had 113 points (21g-92a) in 279 Western Hockey League games with the Medicine Hat Tigers. The Washington Capitals selected Krebs in the sixth round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, and he is the younger brother of Buffalo Sabres’ forward Peyton Krebs.
