O'Leary inks deal with Knight Monsters

STATELINE, Nev. – The Tahoe Knight Monsters, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights and the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Mike O’Leary for the 2025-26 season.  

O’Leary, 27, joins Tahoe after a well-traveled 2024-25 season which included stints with Ilves Tampere (SM-Liiga) in Finland’s top league, the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League as well as 14 games with the Florida Everblades, where he logged ten points (1g-9a).  

O’Leary brings a wealth of AHL experience with him, totaling 44 points (19g-25a) 188 career AHL games split in stints with Milwaukee (2024-25), Iowa (2022-24) and Harford (2019-22).  

Prior to starting his professional career, the Halifax, Nova Scotia native totaled 57 points (20g-37a) during his four collegiate seasons at the University of Notre Dame from 2016-20.
