Coralville, Iowa – Iowa Heartlanders Head Coach & General Manager Chuck Weber announced the team has signed defensemen Thomas Stewart and Lordanthony Grissom to contracts for the 2025-26 season.

Stewart, 22, tallied 10 points (5g-5a) in 45 games in his rookie season last year with Bloomington. He turned pro after a three-season career in the Ontario Hockey League with Oshawa and Barrie. His most-prolific offensive season in the OHL came in 2023-24 when he posted 25 points (8g-17a) in 69 games.

Grissom, 29, is preparing for his fourth ECHL season. Last season, he recorded seven points (1g-6a) in 32 games split between Norfolk and Jacksonville. In 2022, Grissom won an SPHL championship with Peoria.
