Yavash returns to Admirals

Norfolk, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Winnipeg Jets and American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose, announced they have signed forward German Yavash to a contract for the 2025-26 season.

Yavash recently completed his first season as a professional with the Admirals, playing in 45 regular-season games and totaling nine points (6g-3a) with 68 penalty minutes. He also suited up for three games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs, accumulating 17 penalty minutes in total. 

The 22-year-old came to the United States in 2021 and signed with the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League, where he had 23 points (9g-14a). Yavash played in 46 games with the USHL's Lincoln Stars during the 2023-24 season, recording 12 points (8g-4a) and leading the team with 100 penalty minutes.
