Colella joins K-Wings

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that rookie forward Mikey Colella signed a contract for the 2025-26 season.

Colella, 26, produced 12 points (4g-8a) in 37 games last season at Canisius College.

Prior to Canisius, Colella spent four seasons at Northern Michigan University, scoring 64 points (33g-31a) in 132 games. He spent one season in the British Columbia Hockey League before college, finishing third in the league with 68 points (27g-41a) in 58 games for the Trail Smoke Eaters.
