Loven returns to Adirondack

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The Adirondack Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s New Jersey Devils and American Hockey League’s Utica Comets, have announced that the club has re-signed forward Grant Loven to a contract for the 2026-27 season.

Loven recorded 25 points (10g-15a) in 55 games with the Thunder this past season, before adding one goal in four playoff games. In 112 career games with the Thunder, the 28-year-old has 50 points (20g-30a). 

Before joining Adirondack in the 2024-25 season, Loven had 15 points (5g-10a) in 13 games with the SPHL’s Fayetteville Marksmen. During the 2023-24 campaign, the East Grand Forks, Minnesota native played 15 ECHL games with the Toledo Walleye, in addition to Fayetteville, where he put up 39 points (12g-27a) in 42 games.

Prior to his professional career, Loven played four years of collegiate hockey at Northern Michigan University, University of St. Thomas and Canisius College, totaling 47 points (18g-29a) in 148 games.
