Icemen re-sign Rowe

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild and the American Hockey League’s Iowa Wild, announced that the team has agreed to terms with goaltender Cameron Rowe for the 2026-27 season.

Rowe, 25, played in 31 games for Jacksonville last season, boasting a 3.04 goals-against average, a .900 save percentage with 2 shutouts, along with an 11-15-4 record in his rookie professional campaign. Rowe also earned a start with the Rochester Americans in the AHL last season before returning to Jacksonville.

The native of Wilmette, Illinois was the key backstop to Western Michigan University’s National Championship team in 2025. Rowe started in 93 games for the Broncos across his final three seasons (2022-25). Before transferring to Western Michigan, Rowe was a two-year standout (2020-22) at the University of Wisconsin, where he earned Big Ten All-Rookie Team honors in 2021.
