K-Wings re-sign Knuble, add Pitters

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks, announced that the team has re-signed forward Cam Knuble and signed forward Adam Pitters for the 2026-27 season.

Knuble, 26, enters his second professional season. In 2025-26, Knuble tallied six points (2g-4a) in 43 games with the K-Wings.

Prior to last season, the Grand Rapids, Michigan native spent five years with Western Michigan University. Knuble posted a collegiate career high of 15 points (5g-10a) to help the program lift its first National Championship in the 2024-25 season. With the Broncos, Knuble recorded 18 points (7g-11a) in 133 career games, and served as an alternate captain in his senior year.

Pitters, 27, is entering his third professional season. In 2025-26, Pitters scored 20 points (5g-15a) in 59 games for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. He also spent his rookie campaign in Tahoe, tallying 13 points (3g-10a) in 43 games.

The Grossee Pointe, Michigan native spent four seasons at Bowling Green State University, tallying 23 points (6g-17a) in 102 games. He transferred to Long Island University for his fifth year, adding 10 points (5g-5a) in 31 games. Pitters made his pro debut with the SPHL's Fayetteville Marksmen to finish the 2023-24 season, recording 10 points (2g-8a) in eight games.
