Yeamans rejoins Icemen

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Minnesota Wild and the American Hockey League’s Iowa Wild, announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Brandon Yeamans for the 2026-27 season.

Yeamans, 28, has played five seasons in the ECHL, first entering the league in 2022 with the Cincinnati Cyclones. Yeamans returns to Jacksonville after a brief stint with the Icemen during the 2022-23 campaign, where he skated in 23 games. The Maple, Ontario native has also enjoyed ECHL stops in Florida (2022-23), Allen (2023-24), Rapid City (2023-24), Iowa (2024-25), Norfolk (2024-25) and Bloomington (2024-26. He served as an alternate captain for the Bison last season, putting up eight points (4g-4a) in 63 games. In total, Yeamans has totaled 35 points (20g-15a) and 468 penalty minutes in in 223 career ECHL games.

Before starting his professional career, Yeamans played three seasons at York University and four seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League with the Mississauga Chargers and the North York Rangers. Yeamans was a two-time captain for the Chargers from 2017-19.
