ECHL announces suspension

The ECHL on Thursday announced that Atlanta’s Tyler Murovich has been suspended for a total of 12 games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #210, Norfolk at Atlanta, on Nov. 24.

Murovich is suspended for a careless, reckless play which resulted in an injury to an opponent. Over the course of his seven-year career, Murovich has never been previously suspended or received supplemental discipline.

Murovich has already missed Atlanta’s games vs. Norfolk on Nov. 25, South Carolina on Nov. 27 and Greenville on Nov. 30. He will be eligible to return to the line-up on Jan. 5 against Tulsa.
