ECHL announces fines

The ECHL on Sunday announced that Norfolk’s Gabriel Verpaelst and Greenville’s Bretton Cameron have each been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of their actions in ECHL Game #491, Norfolk at Greenville, on Jan. 14.

Verpaelst and Cameron are fined under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of their actions at 13:39 of the second period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
