The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fine and suspensions.
Allen’s Gunn fined, suspended
Allen’s Mike Gunn has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #753, Allen at Missouri, on March 3.
Gunn is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his interference penalty at 12:27 of the second period.
Gunn will miss Allen’s game at Missouri tonight (March 4).
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
Elmira’s Kea suspended
Elmira’s Justin Kea has been suspended for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #759, Elmira at Norfolk, on March 3.
Kea is suspended automatically under Rule #46.12 as a result of receiving an instigating penalty in the final five minutes of regulation.
Kea will miss Elmira’s game at Norfolk tonight (March 4).
South Carolina’s Gillies suspended
South Carolina’s Trevor Gillies has been suspended for one game as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #750, South Carolina at Colorado, on March 3.
Gillies is suspended automatically under Rule #46.12 as a result of receiving an instigating penalty in the final five minutes of regulation.
Gillies will miss South Carolina’s game at Colorado tonight (March 4).
