Americans re-sign Asuchak

Americans re-sign Asuchak

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, announced that forward Spencer Asuchak will return to the Americans for a fifth season.

Asuchak, who first joined the team in his rookie season of 2013-14, has  played in 230 games for the Americans. His best numbers as a pro came in 2016-17, when he totaled 66 points (26g-40a) in 64 games.

He has 60 games in the American Hockey League with several teams, including Providence, Worcester, Chicago and San Jose. He has a total of 10 points (5g-5a) in the AHL.

Asuchak played his junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Tri-City Americans and Prince George Cougars. He has been a part of three championships in Allen, one Presidents' Cup title in the Central Hockey League and two Kelly Cup championships.
