Americans re-sign goaltender Brodeur

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, announced that goaltender Jeremy Brodeur has signed for a second season in Allen.

Brodeur, son of former NHL Goalie Martin Brodeur, joined Allen last season. In 39 games, he had a record of 15-13 with a .917 save percentage.

Brodeur played his junior hockey with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League, where he improved his win total each season. The native of Essex Fells, New Jersey had a 2.78 goals-against average while in Oshawa and is the team’s all-time leader in shutouts with seven. He won the OHL championship and Memorial Cup titles in 2014-15.
