Brown re-signs with Royals

Brown re-signs with Royals

Reading, Pa. – The Reading Royals, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers and American Hockey League's Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that forward Tyler Brown has signed for the 2018-19 season.

Brown scored 14 points (5g-9a) with the Royals as alternate captain last campaign and was honored as the Royals’ 2017-18 Unsung Hero at the team’s Awards Banquet. He has played seven professional seasons.

Before joining the Royals in summer 2017, Brown skated for the New York Rangers organization from 2014-17. He scored 21 points (4g-17a) in 48 games with Greenville in 2016-17.

In 284 AHL games, Brown has generated 59 points (25g-34a) while adding 53 points (21g-32a) in 131 games over three ECHL campaigns.
