Fox, Morgan return to Royals

Fox, Morgan return to Royals

Reading, Pa. – The Reading Royals, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers and American Hockey League's Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that forwards Dillan Fox and Brian Morgan have signed contracts for the 2018-19 season.

Fox has spent the majority of his two professional campaigns with Mississippi of the Southern Professional Hockey League. In 32 games last season for the RiverKings, he recorded 34 points, and was 10th in the league with 23 goals. A SUNY-Plattsburgh graduate, Fox tallied 96 points (30g-66a) over four seasons at the collegiate level.

Morgan is entering his second professional season. He scored 12 points (6g-6a) for Pensacola of the SPHL early last season before transitioning to the ECHL. He spent three NCAA seasons at the University of Maine where he notched 32 points (17g-15a) in 103 career games before transferring to the University of Connecticut for his senior season. With the Huskies, Morgan tallied 14 points (7g-7a) in 36 contests.
