Boise, Idaho – Idaho Steelheads Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Neil Graham announced that the Steelheads have agreed to terms with forward Michael Neville on a contract for the 2018-19 season.
The Steelheads are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Dallas Stars and the American Hockey League's Texas Stars.
Neville began his professional career last season with the Steelheads, appearing in 14 regular-season games. The Woodbridge, Ontario native registered three points (2g-1a) and eight penalty minutes with the Steelheads. The 25-year-old signed with the Steelheads on Feb. 23 after spending the first half of the season recovering from an injury suffered during his senior year at Michigan Tech.
Neville played four seasons at Michigan Tech from 2013-17. A two-year alternate captain, Neville totaled 60 points (15g-45a) over 155 career NCAA games. He helped lead the Huskies to a WCHA Conference title in 2017, and he spent the start of the 2017-18 campaign as an assistant coach with the Huskies.
