Warning re-signs with Everblades

Warning re-signs with Everblades

ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced that the team has agreed to terms with forward Sam Warning for the 2018-19 season. 

The Everblades are the ECHL affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.

Warning was acquired by the Everblades from the Quad City Mallards last spring. Warning registered three goals in three regular-season appearances last season with Florida while logging 31 points (16g-15a) in 41 games played with the Mallards. In addition, Warning added 14 points (5g-9a) in 21 postseason appearances with the ‘Blades. 

The 25-year-old has also posted four points (2g-2a) in 18 appearances with the American Hockey League’s San Jose Barracuda last season. Warning totaled 116 points (56g-60a) In 141 career ECHL games with Quad City from 2015-18.  The Chesterfield, Missouri native had a productive collegiate career at the University of Minnesota from 2011-15, compiling 97 points (40g-57a).
