Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres and the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans, have announced forwards Adrian Carbonara and Nate Mitton have signed contracts with the team for the 2018-19 season.
Hailing from Maple, Ontario, Carbonara recently completed his junior career in the Ontario Hockey League, spending time with the Barrie Colts, London Knights and Niagara IceDogs. In 196 OHL games, Carbonara totaled 58 points (27g-31a) while racking up 297 penalty minutes.
A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Mitton split the 2017-18 season between the Utah Grizzlies and the Southern Professional Hockey League's Birmingham Bulls. He appeared in 43 games between the two teams, totaling 17 points (8g-9a).
Prior to turning pro, the 26-year-old played four seasons at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology where he amassed 29 points (9g-20a) in 102 career games.
