ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Solar Bears have agreed to terms with forward Vincent Dunn for the 2018-19 season.
The Solar Bears are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Tampa Bay Lightning and the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch.
Dunn, 22, joins the Solar Bears after splitting the 2017-18 season between the Brampton Beast and the AHL's Belleville Senators while under contract with the NHL’s Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins. In 31 games with the Beast, Dunn recorded 18 points (10g-8a) and 70 penalty minutes. Dunn added four assists and 29 penalty minutes in 17 AHL contests with Belleville.
In 162 career pro games, Dunn has accumulated 63 points (27g-36a) and 452 penalty minutes.
Prior to turning pro, the native of Hull, Quebec played for the Rimouski Océanic, Gatineau Olympiques and Val-d’Or Foreurs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, where he registered 148 points (80g-68a) and 501 penalty minutes in 205 games. Dunn was a fifth-round selection (#138 overall) of the Senators in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
