Dzakhov joins Swamp Rabbits for rookie season

GREENVILLE, S.C. — The Greenville Swamp Rabbits have announced that they have signed forward Stanislav Dzakhov to a contract for the 2018–19 season.

Dzakhov got a taste of professional hockey action at the ECHL level at the conclusion of last season, and performed well for the Quad City Mallards, posting four points (3g-1a) in five games.

Dzakhov spent four seasons with the Niagara University Purple Eagles, where he notched 49 points (22g-27a) in 120 games.

Prior to joining the collegiate ranks, Dzakhov spent time with the Fargo Force of the United States Hockey League and the Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League. His junior experience included one run into the Clark Cup Playoffs with Fargo, and two runs into the Robertson Cup Playoffs with Bismarck.
