Icemen add pair of forwards

Jacksonville, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Winnipeg Jets and American Hockey League's Manitoba Moose, announced the addition of forwards Tyson Fawcett and Derek Brown for the 2018-19 season.  

Fawcett, 25, returns to the lineup after playing 54 games in the club's inaugural season, recording 23 points (8g-15a). This will be the third season the Barrie, Ontario native has donned an Icemen sweater, having spent the 2015-16 season with the club in Evansville.

Brown, 21, is making his professional debut with the Icemen after three seasons of junior hockey with the Bonnyville Pontiacs and most recently, the Vernon Vipers. Last season, he notched 12 points (11g-1a) in 16 games with the Vipers and 38 points (20g-18a) in 30 games with the Pontiacs.
