K-Wings bring back veteran defenseman Bushee

K-Wings bring back veteran defenseman Bushee

Kalamazoo, Mich. - The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, re-signed veteran defenseman Kyle Bushee for the 2018-19 season.

Bushee, entering his 10th full professional season, returns for his third season with the K-Wings, after setting career highs in goals (10), assists (32) and points (42) in 2017-18. The veteran defenseman was named an ECHL All-Star last season, representing the K-Wings at the All-Star Classic in Indianapolis.

The native of Otsego, Michigan, who appeared in his 600th professional game last season,  has netted 73 points (18g-55a) in 125 games with Kalamazoo the last two seasons.
