Monarchs add rookie forward Knutson

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and General Manager, Doug Christiansen announced that the Monarchs have signed Zeb Knutson to a contract for the 2018-19 season.

The Monarchs are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Los Angeles Kings and the American Hockey League's Ontario Reign.

Knutson, 24, joins the Monarchs after skating in 40 games for Minnesota State University-Mankato, scoring 43 points (15g-28a) during the 2017-18 season. Over his four years with the Mavericks, Knutson racked up 88 points (38g-50a) in 127 games.

The native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota played two seasons for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the United States Hockey League from 2012-14. At the conclusion of last season, Knutson played two games for the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.
