Kolesar makes NHL debut

Kolesar makes NHL debut

Former Quad City Mallards' forward Keegan Kolesar became the 671st former ECHL player to reach the NHL when he debuted with the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday against Columbus.

Kolesar is the ninth former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2019-20 season. He posted 16 points (9g-7a) in 20 games with the Mallards during the 2017-18 season.

The 22-year-old has recorded 59 points (27g-32a) in 140 career American Hockey League games with Chicago.
