Former Newfoundland Growlers' defenseman Timothy Liljegren became the 673rd former ECHL player to reach the NHL when he debuted with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Liljegren is the 10th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2019-20 season.
