Marchment makes NHL debut

Former Orlando Solar Bears' forward Mason Marchment became the 670th former ECHL player to reach the NHL when he debuted with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday at Winnipeg.

Marchment is the eighth former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2019-20 season. He posted 20 points (14g-6a) in 35 regular-season games with the Solar Bears during the 2016-17 season and added five points (1g-4a) in seven games during the 2017 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The 24-year-old has recorded 56 points (27g-29a) in 111 career American Hockey League games with Toronto.
