Albano returns to Americans

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans announced that the team has signed defenseman Nick Albano for the 2022-23 season.

Albano, who was acquired in a trade last season with the Worcester Railers, played in 18 games with the Americans and had six assists. He had 18 points (5g-13a) in 28 games for the Railers prior to being traded. He has 14 games of experience in the American Hockey League with Springfield and Charlotte, totaling three assists.

The 25-year-old played three seasons of college hockey at UMass-Boston, where he totaled 85 points (21g-64a) in 79 career games.
