Mavericks add Sambrook

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – The Kansas City Mavericks have signed defenseman Jordan Sambrook for the 2022-23 season.

The Mavericks acquired Sambrook's rights last month as a part of the future considerations trade with the Florida Everblades for Darik Angeli during the 2021-22 season. Sambrook helped the Everblades to the Kelly Cup title in 2021-22 recording 20 points (2g-18a) in 61 regular-season games before ading three points (2g-1a) in 20 posteseason contests. He also skated in two American Hockey League games with the Charlotte Checkers last season.
