Pouncy inks deal with Grizzlies

West Valley City, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies, ECHL affiliate of the 2022 Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche, have signed defenseman Kyle Pouncy for the 2022-23 season.

Pouncy played in 45 games with the Grizzlies in the 2021-22 season, scoring seven points (3g-4a). 

Pouncy played at Northland College from 2017-20, where he holds the all-time scoring record for points by a defenseman. He also has pro experience with the Wichita Thunder, the Southern Professional Hockey League’s Knoxville Ice Bears and the Federal Prospect Hockey League’s Carolina Thunderbirds.
