Knoepke inks deal with Mavericks

INDEPENDENCE, MO. – The Kansas City Mavericks have signed defenseman Nate Knoepke for the 2022-23 season.

The 23-year-old grew up in Kansas City and his parents currently reside in Shawnee, Kansas. Knoepke played four seasons for the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he totaled 28 points (7g-21a) in 134 games and served as an alternate captain in his junior and senior seasons. After concluding his collegiate career last season, Knoepke made his professional debut appearing in four games with the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans.
