INDEPENDENCE, MO. – The Kansas City Mavericks have signed forward James McEwan for the 2022-23 season.

McEwan, a 25-year-old forward from Chatham, Ontario, Canada played for the University of New Brunswick from 2018-22 totaling 23 points (10g-13a) in 59 games. Most recently in his senior season, McEwan tallied 14 points (4g-10a) in 24 games.  

Before his time at UNB, McEwan played for the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League from 2014-18. During the 2015-16 season with the Storm, he recorded 52 points (25g-27a) in 68 games.
