Cincinnati, Ohio -The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that the team has signed defenseman Arvin Atwal to a contract for the 2022-23 season.Atwal, 26, began his pro career in Cincinnati, joining the Cyclones for the 2016-17 season where he recored 17 points (2g-15a). The Surrey, British Columbia split time between the Cyclones and American Hockey League's Rochester Americans the next two seasons. During the 2018-19 season, he represented the Cyclones in the ECHL All-Star Classic while setting career highs in goals (10), assists (29), points (39) and penalty minutes (214).
In the 2019-20 season, Atwal spent time with both the Florida Everblades and AHL's Milwaukee Admirals before spending the entire 2020-21 season with the Everblades. Last season, he skated in 39 games with Spisska Nova Ves HK in Slovakia, tallying 25 points (3g-22a).
Prior to turning pro, Atwal played 225 games in the Western Hockey League with Vancouver and Lethbridge.
