KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo Wings, ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Columbus Blue Jackets, announced the signing of forward Darby Llewellyn.
Llewellyn, 26, enters his fourth professional season. He skated in 31 games in Europe last season, totaling 48 points (22g-26a) with both Narvik (Norway) and Halmstad (Sweden).
Kalamazoo is Llewellyn’s fourth ECHL stop, lacing up for Atlanta (2016-17), Rapid City (2018-19) and Tulsa (2020-21). In his three previous ECHL seasons, he tallied 60 piints (25g-35a) with 164 penalty minutes in 155 games.
The Ann Arbor, Michigan native played five seasons (2012-17) in the Ontario Hockey Leagie for the Kitchener Rangers, recording 171 points (95g-76a) with 174 penalty minutes in 301 games.
