Hargrove returns to Americans

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, announced the team has re-signed captain Colton Hargrove for the 2023-2024 season.

Hargrove tallied 85 points (39g-46a) in 64 games with the Americans last season. He finished the season tied for second in the league in goals and was sixth in points. He joined the Americans last season after two years in Austria.

A native of Dallas, Texas, Hargrove played in 259 games in the American Hockey League from 2015-19 with Providence and Texas, totaling 113 points (51g-62a).

Prior to turning pro, Hargrove spent three seasons at Western Michigan University, where he had 62 points (34g-28a) in 105 games. He was selected by the Boston Bruins in the seventh round (205th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
