Cincinnati, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that the team has re-signed center Louie Caporusso for the 2023-24 season.

Caporusso, 34, enters his third season in Cincinnati after spending the previous seven seasons overseas. Last year, the Toronto, Ontario native scored 71 points (24g-47a) in 68 regular-season games with the Cyclones, establishing career highs in goals, assists and points. He finished second in team scoring and was tied for the 16th overall in the ECHL.

A third-round selection (90th overall) of the Ottawa Senators in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, Caporusso has played over 500 professional games in the AHL, DEL, Italy and ECHL, totaling 451 points (175g-276a) over that time. Since joining the Cyclones in 2021, Caporusso has been one of the team's alternate captains.
