WHEELING, W.Va. - The Wheeling Nailers, ECHL affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, announed the team has re-signed defenseman Sebastian Dirven to a contract for the 2023-24 season.Dirven, 25, made his professional debut with the Nailers in April, after completing his collegiate playing career. He recorded three points (1g-2a) in his first four career contests.Prior to turning pro, the Bainsville, Ontario native attended Cornell University, where he suited up in 93 of the school's 95 games over the course of his three seasons, while totaling 15 points (3g-12a).
