INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced that they have re-signed defenseman Chris Cameron to a contract for the 2023-24 season.

The 24-year-old is returning for his third season with the Fuel. During the 2022-23 season, he posted a career high of 16 points in 66 games while also receiving his first American Hockey League recall to the Milwaukee Admirals where he played two games.

He is currently 35 penalty minutes away from tying the Fuel’s all-time career record after leading the team in penalty minutes with 141 last season.

In the 2021-22 season with the Fuel, he played in 37 games where he tallied six points (2g-4a) and had 84 penalty minutes.

Prior to joining the Fuel, Camerson spent four seasons playing for the Ontario Hockey League’s Barrie Colts. Skating in a total of 227 OHL games, Cameron registered 39 points (5g-34a) and 259 penalty minutes.
