West Valley City, Utah – The Utah Grizzlies are bringing back defenseman Cory Thomas for the 2023-24 season.
Thomas picked up seven assists in 41 games with the Grizzlies as a rookie last season. He played in eight games with the Idaho Steelheads late in the 2021-22 season, notching one assist. 4
Prior to turning pro, Thomas played at Canisius College where had three points (2g-1a) in in 39 games during the 2021-22 season. Before that he played at the University of Vermont for four seasons from 2017-21, recording six points (2g-4a) in 100 career games.
