Former Trenton Titans and Adirondack Thunder goaltender Scott Wedgewood of the Dallas Stars is the Bellevue University ECHL Alumnus of the Month for December.
The 31-year-old went 7-1-0 in nine appearances during the month with a 2.75 goals-against average and a save percentage of .900. Wedgewood allowed two goals or less in four of his nine outings while making at least 25 saves six times.
A native of Brampton, Ontario, Wedgewood appeared in 48 games for Trenton in the 2011-12 season posting a record of 20-22-5 with one shutout, a 3.22 goals-against average and a save percentage of .900. He also recorded a win in his lone outing for Adirondack during the 2015-16 season.
Wedgewood has seen action in 113 career NHL games with Dallas, Arizona and New Jersey compiling a career record of 43-43-19 with six shutouts, a 3.01 goals-against average and a save percentage of .907.
