Lennox makes NHL debut

Lennox makes NHL debut

Former Worcester Railers' goaltender Tristan Lennox became the 766th former ECHL player to reach the National Hockey League when he debuted with the New York Islanders on Thursday against the New York Rangers.

Lennox is the 14th former ECHL player to make his NHL debut during the 2024-25 season. He made his pro debut with the Railers during the 2023-24 season, posting a record of 5-6-2 in 13 appearances with a 2.94 goals-against average and a save percentage of .904.

Selected by the Islanders in the third round (93rd overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, Lennox has also seen action in four career games with Bridgeport of the American Hockey League.
