ANCHROAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces announced that they have signed Anchorage native Dax Lauwers for the 2016-17 season.
The Aces are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks and the American Hockey League's Utica Comets.
Lauwers played 18 games last season with the Cincinnati Cyclones. In 2014-15, he saw action in nine games with the Colorado Eagles after finishing his NCAA career at Northeastern University.
