West Valley City, Utah – Utah Grizzlies Head Coach/General Manager Tim Branham announced hat the team has signed defensemen Tim Daly and Eric Springer for the 2016-17 season.
The Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Anaheim Ducks and the American Hockey League's San Diego Gulls.
Daly returns to Utah for his second professional season after logging two assists and a +5 in 14 games with the Grizzlies after being acquired from Norfolk in late January. He previously played four seasons at St. Cloud State University.Springer joins the Grizzlies for his fifth pro season after previously playing with Ontario, Atlanta and Wichita. Prior to last season with the Thunder, Springer was a +31 over the first three seasons of his pro career. He has 46 points (5g-41a) in 166 career games.
