Harrison brings grit, scoring to Eagles

WINDSOR, Colo. – The Colorado Eagles, ECHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced that they have signed forward Ryan Harrison to a contract for the 2016-17 season.

Harrison made his professional debut with Oloftroms IK in Sweden during the 2015-16 season, posting 37 points (16g-21a) in 34 games.

Prior to heading overseas, Harrison spent two seasons at the University of Calgary, registering 38 points (12g-26a) in 51 games with the Dinos. Prior to moving to the collegiate level, the Vernon, British Columbia native played five seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Prince Albert Raiders, Medicine Hat Tigers and Everett Silvertips recording 225 points (79g-146a) in 325 career games. Harrison also attended the rookie camp of the Vancouver Canucks in 2011.
