DULUTH, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators announced that veteran forward Tyler Murovich has agreed to terms with the organization for the 2016-17 season.
The Gladiators are the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins and the American Hockey League's Providence Bruins.
Murovich skated in all 72 of the Gladiators' games last season, amassing 39 points (19g-20a). The 26-year-old finished the season ranked third on the team in goals and fifth in assists and points. The 2016-17 season will mark the fifth year that the forward has played at least part, if not all, of the season with the Gladiators.
Over the course of his career, Murovich has competed in 404 pro games in the AHL and ECHL. In 64 career AHL games, Murovich has 15 points (8g-7a) with the Hamilton Bulldogs, Iowa Wild, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Syracuse Crunch. In 340 ECHL contests, he has 179 points (78g-101a).
