Sweat X named “Official Detergent & Odor Eliminator” of the ECHL for 2016-17 season

The ECHL announced on Tuesday that the League has partnered with Renegade Brand’s Sweat X as the “Official Detergent and Odor Eliminator” of the ECHL, bringing Sweat X products into the locker rooms of all 27 Teams and providing a series of marketing assets for the upcoming Season. The agreement was formulated by Precision Sports Entertainment of Madison, N.J.

Sweat X detergent and laundry line deploys Nanovasive technology that exfoliates sweat beads housing bacteria known to cause odor in uniforms and activewear. The Sweat X Laundry Cleaning Line is also a leader in soil release testing and is non-toxic and biodegradable, with no dermal impact.

“The ECHL is excited to join the Sweat X movement and bring our equipment managers the leading and most advanced cleaning product in the market for our athletes,” said Ryan Crelin, Senior Vice President of Business Operations for the ECHL. “As any hockey mom can attest, the equipment and jerseys from our sport can be quite the challenge to keep clean and odor free, but the Sweat X product line alleviates those concerns by eliminating odor without harsh chemicals.”

Sweat X also supplies laundry products to professional organizations and elite performance institutes such as the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets and the IMG Academy. The company also has extensive affiliations with sports governing bodies and their national teams like USA Triathlon, US Lacrosse and USA Field Hockey.

"We are thrilled and indeed honored to partner with the ECHL in deploying exceptional laundry and odor technologies that benefit the athletes competing in such a well-respected organization," said Cathy Horton, CEO and Founder of Renegade Brands.
