Adam Morrison of the Rapid City Rush is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Nov. 14-20. It is the third time in his career that he has received the weekly honor.
The 25-year-old went 2-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .973 in a pair of appearances at Tulsa last week.
Morrison stopped all 37 shots he faced in a 2-0 win on Wednesday and made 36 saves in a 3-2 victory on Friday.
A native of White Rock, British Columbia, Morrison has appeared in three games for the Rush this season going 3-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .974.
Morrison has seen action in 75 career ECHL games with Rapid City, Reading, Greenville, Fort Wayne, Utah and South Carolina, posting an overall record of 36-23-12 with eight shutouts, a 2.68 goals-against average and a save percentage of .913.
Selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the third round (81st overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Morrison played four seasons in the Western Hockey League with Saskatoon and Vancouver prior to turning pro. During the 2011-12 season, he went 35-16-3 in 55 games with Vancouver with a 2.75 goals-against average and a save percentage of .901.
