Former Elmira Jackals forward Mike Hoffman is The MeiGray Group ECHL Alumnus of the Month for November.
The leading distributor of game- worn hockey jerseys and “Official Game-Worn Jersey Source of the ECHL,” MeiGray has sold more than 7,000 jerseys since it became “The Official Game-Worn Jersey Source of the ECHL” in 2002-03.
The 27-year-old scored six goals and added five assists for 11 points in 13 games during the month. He had at least one point in six games during November, including a three-point game (1g-2a) on Nov, 22 at Montreal and a four-point effort (3g-1a) on Nov. 29 against Buffalo.
Selected by the Senators in the fifth round (130th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, Hoffman has tallied 16 points (7g-9a) in 21 games with the Senators this season. He has 129 points (66g-63a) in 207 career NHL games with Ottawa.
A native of Kitchener, Ontario, Hoffman notched three assists in four games with the Jackals during the 2010-11 season. He also recorded 169 points (71g-98a) in 242 career games with Binghamton of the American Hockey League.
