Leonard is AMI Graphics/ECHL Plus Performer of the Month

Fort Wayne Komets’ defenseman Curtis Leonard is the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for November after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +14.

The 24-year-old posted an even or better rating in nine of 10 games during the month and was a +3 in a 6-4 win at Missouri on Nov. 11 and in a 5-1 victory over Quad City on Nov. 18.

A native of Napanee, Ontario, Leonard leads the ECHL with a +17 rating this season, finishing even or better in 14 of 15 games.

Leonard has five points (1g-4a) with the Komets this season and has tallied 14 points (2g-12a) in 72 career ECHL games with Fort Wayne, Reading and Evansville.

Prior to turning pro, Leonard recorded 43 points (9g-34a) in 151 career games at R.P.I.

In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Curtis Leonard with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Komets’ home game.
