Walleye agree to terms with Fraser

Toledo, Ohio – Defenseman Cole Fraser has agreed to terms with the Toledo Walleye for the 2021-22 season.Fraser, a native of Carleton Place, Ontario, joins the Walleye after combining for 55 ECHL games last season with Allen, South Carolina and Utah, tallying seven points (4g-3a) and adding 163 penalty minutes between the three teams. A fifth-round selection of the Detroit Red Wings in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Fraser posted eight points (4g-4a) and 74 penaalty minutes with Allen during the 2019-20 season.Prior to turning professional, Fraser spent four years in the Ontario Hockey League with the Peterborough Petes. In total, he logged 221 games with 54 points (14g-40a) and 277 penalty minutes. He appeared in a career-best 61 games in the 2016-17 season which also saw him score a career-high six goals.
